The first winemakers were the mission padres. The tradition of winemaking still exists only 18 miles east of San Juan Capistrano in Temecula, where mission vineyards were established in 1820.

Being the hearty souls that we are we unpacked the truck, set up the canopy and rolled out the bikes!

The weather over the weekend was beautiful  and the Mid-State Fairgrounds was filled with vendors and rally participants who were able to camp right on the grounds of the show. Attendance was strong and the vendors were busy all weekend while bands performed on the main stage and the smell of bar-b-que'd tri-tip filled the air.
